I needed more storage space so I built a shed

My kids got new bikes for Christmas and I needed more space to keep them safe – I decided on a shed but I really wasn’t looking forward to doing all the ground work until I heard about EASYGrid!

My kids got new bikes for Christmas and I needed more space to keep them safe – I decided on a shed but I really wasn’t looking forward to doing all the ground work until I heard about EASYGrid!

I bought an 8 x 6 timber shed and worked out I’d need about 5m² of EASYGrid to put it on.  I bought three retail packs which have 2m² in each pack and a roll of EASY ground stabilisation membrane.  Having levelled the ground and rolled out the EASYMembrane I placed the Grids on top and snapped them together, that was it!  The Shed, once built, just sat on top – Job done!  It was so EASY.  Finally rather than cut off the excess of the EASYGrid at the edges of the shed, with a handsaw, I decided to fill them with some small stones and made a feature of it. The area looked great and now the bikes are secure.

EASYGrid is sold in 2m² retail packs and 50m² on a pallet.  The Grid can be purchased in three different colours, black, green and white.  There are two types of EASYMembrane, for ground stabilisation and weed control.  They are sold in seven different roll sizes.

EASYGrid has a wide range of uses:

• Grass, gravel and stone driveways
• Car parks and overflow parking areas
• Pathways and lanes
• Caravan parks, camp and holiday sites
• Equestrian and livestock purposes
• Lawn and bank reinforcement
• Emergency routes and access roads
• Base for sheds, greenhouses and cabins
• Helicopter pads
