Sealing sensitive paving before jointing with EASYJoint

You don't have to seal your paving before using EASYJoint but there are plenty of reasons why you should

You don't have to seal your paving before using EASYJoint but there are plenty of reasons why you should and if you're using a particularly sensitive stone you'll certainly benefit from a good breathable sealer.

We mention in our EASYJoint instructions to seal sensitive stone, three examples are Granite, Black Limestone & Modak. If you are planning to seal your paving, we recommend doing it before jointing. You can then joint your paving two to three days after sealing. If you have already jointed your paving, do not seal your patio until four weeks after jointing, allowing your joints to cure fully.

Azpects Top Tip: If possible we recommend sealing the slabs on all six sides before installation; there have been cases for example where granite has drawn contaminates up from slab base mixture all the way to the top of the paving and stained it.
