The UK is now in the midst of a heat wave with record temperatures forecast for some areas. As a result of that paving can get very hot and the water used in the application process of EASYJoint can dry off very quickly.
Our advice in weather like this, particularly on porous paving such as sandstone is to saturate the paving and continue to keep it wet by running a hose over it continuously, the wetter better. It is important to keep topping up your working area to make sure it remains as wet as possible. Always remember to wash the paving down after installation, removing any remaining grains of sand which may remain sitting on top of the paving slabs, making sure you remove any excess residue which may sit on the top.
