Azpects have put together a short video of a tired block paved driveway being revitalised by resanding it and then sealing it using EASYSeal BCS (Block and Concrete Sealer).
The driveway is first cleaned by removing debris with a brush. When this was done, it was pressure washed and left to dry for 48 hours. It was then resanded using kiln dried sand, firstly guided into place by sweeping it in using a brush, once in the joints a whacker plate was used to vibrate the sand solidly into the joints (not pictured during the video).
Once this is all done, the drive is then sealed with BCS which not only helps to protect the paviors, it helps to stabilise the joints by binding the sand. This will help to aid the maintenance of the driveway in the long run, creating an extra barrier of protection, helping to protect this paving investment.
