How does it compare to regular EASYJoint?
EASYJoint Pro is a heavy-duty and permeable two-part epoxy resin jointing compound which requires mixing in the tub before application. When mixed, it is easy to sweep in and workable just like normal EASYJoint.
It comes in three colours, mushroom, stone grey and basalt and is available in 17kg tubs.
The grains of sand are finer, leaving a smooth and attractive finish.
EASYJoint PRO will cure in any conditions once mixed and it sets considerably harder than traditional EASYJoint which has advantages particularly for use on areas which are trafficked and under heavier use. EASYJoint Pro’s strength and tolerance to water make it especially suitable for driveways, commercial areas, areas with poor drainage and swimming pool terraces.
It is less permeable than EASYJoint but still allows water to drain through. So, like EASYJoint, it is strongly encouraged for it to be installed on a permeable base.
It is recommended not to use the product if rain is a possibility. Areas should be covered if rain occurs before the product has cured. Light rain is less of a problem but prolonged heavy rain may weaken the epoxy and reduce its strength.
It is chemical and water-tolerant once it has fully set.
It will withstand mechanical cleaning by pressure washing and road sweepers.
It withstands frost and ice once cured.
