Lichen infestations, or Black or White spot, is one of the most difficult challenges in the landscape industry. This high-performance treatment is formulated and proven to remove this unsightly and stubborn problem that regular paving cleaners and pressure washing cannot resolve.

Black Spot Remover kills these spores and makes removal easy with a pressure washer. As a by-product, you'll find that your paving area will be cleaned, revived and invigorated.

Installation Guide

Step 1. Sweep

Brush away leaves and debris.

Step 2. Apply

Apply a generous coat with a garden sprayer, brush, or roller.

Step 3. Wait

Leave to work for up to 8 hours.

Step 4. Finish

Agitate with a stiff bristle brush and rinse with clean water.

Top Tip! For best results, use a power washer to rinse the contaminated area.

Yes, Blackspot Remover is suitable for all paving types.

Some lichen is tough to remove so the paving may need a second application.

For best results, use this product on damp paving and allow at least 8 hours of dry weather to allow sufficient time for the product to work effectively. Rain or washing off too soon will affect the performance of the product.

Most chemical products have a 24month shelf life.

Blackspot Remover is available in a 3 or 5 litre bottle.

We suggest the use of a power washer to rinse and help remove blackspot and other lichen. Always use with care and wear eye protection.

Some jointing material can be affected by Blackspot Remover. Products such as EASYJoint may soften after being subjected to Blackspot Remover.

Dilution is not necessary. Doing so will affect the products’ performance.

Coverage depends on the porosity of the paving and joints, but you should see around 15m2 for the 3-litre size and 25m2 for the 5-litre.
